The Big Idea

It wasn't written on a napkin, but it was at the dinner table. The conversation: How do you get your kids to wear a coat when it's cold? Beth and Heidi both admitted that they let the girls out without a coat, but then... what if they choose to shiver instead of bowing to the inevitable?

Heidi said "When [daughter #2] walks down the street in the cold, I feel the need to announce 'Are you SURE you don't want a coat?' as we pass other people, just so they know it wasn't my idea to go out without."

And there we begin.
